I’m  back with another edition of our “Frequently Asked Questions about Marlboro Township.  As I mentioned in my  first video, these are questions that we often get asked at open houses and from prospective clients, and I love answering them. Because I really love talking about the town that I live in.   The question i’m going to tackle today is: “How big is Marlboro Township?”

To answer this question, I am going to divide it into three parts:

  1.    The People
  2.    The Homes
  3.    The Actual Size

So, let’s get started!

According to the most recent demographics data available from the Census Bureau released in December of 2019, Marlboro township shows it has 40,133 population, and  as of 2017 Morganville had around 5,300 residents.

Are you wondering where all of these people live? There are almost 24,000 residences in Marlboro and Morganville.  There are 16,564 homes in Marlboro and 7,187 in Morganville. This includes single family homes, condos and townhomes.  They are all spread out into different areas and neighborhoods.  They are building some new homes in the area, but those new builds are pretty few and far between.   In terms of acreage, Marlboro is 30.3 square miles or slightly over 19,000 acres.  That’s right, Marlboro is pretty big.  That’s not counting the 5.4 square miles of Morganville.

There are many amazing things in Marlboro Township. There are walking, and biking trails , large amounts of sports turf,  many different parks , a golf course and acres of protected and open space.  There are plenty of trees and flowers everywhere.  Marlboro and Morganville are gorgeous and vibrant communities but you know what?  Those of you who are lucky enough to live here, already know that, you didn’t need to hear it from me. For those of you who don’t live here yet, come visit us! We’re certain that you’re going to love it and we hope that you’ll decide to stay.
