1. California Cold Co. Manalapan
California Cold Co, where their mission is simple: serve delicious, quality craft coffee and espresso that guests will want to return to day after day. California Cold Co is a fun, artsy, urban coffee house that offers Coffee, Espresso, Craft Lattes, Tea, Acai bowls and “bites”. Espresso infused with Fruity Pebbles cereal, chocolate, caramel and more is what makes this coffee stop a must visit. Acai bowls blended with acai, bananas, strawberries, chocolate hemp milk and peanut butter absolutely sets them apart from other smoothie bowl shops in the area.
They have recently added avocado toast, and oatmeal for those looking for a bit of a snack with their beverage.
I also have to add, the staff at my local California Cold Company is fantastic. Super friendly and they take the time to answer questions. I was looking for a “sweet tasting” coffee without all the sugar. I never thought I could get a cup of coffee that would be so darn good without the extra calories, but I was wrong.

3. ROOK COFFEE
If you’re in Monmouth County and are craving a fantastic cup of coffee or a cold brew, I’m sure there is a Rook around you somewhere. From Holmdel, to Manlapan, From Colts Neck to Red Bank, and plenty of other towns in between, this is one Coffee establishment you really don’t want to miss. Childhood friends Holly and Shawn had one concept in mind: quality, simplicity and experience with every cup of coffee they serve, and they have been successful in providing just that. It’s not really the place to grab a sit and chit chat, it’s known more for the grab and go coffee. Locations offer Cold Brew, Hot coffees as well at bottles and bags of their products. The most popular drink, at least here in Monmouth County seems to be the New Orleans Style Cold Brew. I gave this one a try this past week, and Ummm let’s just say I’m hooked! There are also lattes and right now the Pumpkin style is out for Fall! DELISH.

4. BOOSKERDOO COFFEE AND BAKING
in Holmdel is located in Bell Works at 101 Crawfords Corner Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733
The first batch of Booskerdoo Coffee was roasted in an oven in a one-bedroom apartment in New York City. Let’s just say from there it took off.
Booskerdoo was officially born. In 2011 a coffee shop was opened with a roaster on the retail floor in Monmouth Beach. They always roasted to order, making sure that all coffee in the shop was never more than 7 days old. They started a wholesale program and worked to put Booskerdoo Coffee into as many hands as possible.
Now you can find locations all over in Monmouth County.
At Booskerdoo the coffee is always hot and the scones are always fresh. This all-organic coffeehouse is the perfect place to hang out with friends or sit back and relax. If you’re unable to go to a location in person, Booskerdoo offers special mail-order purchases of their fabulous coffee beans.

5. Quick Check
Does this familiar? Don’t Judge me. I can tell you I think one of the best places to grab a cup of coffee, hands down, is right at your local quick check. Yeah yeah, we have all had starbucks, and Dunkin and we have all paid a pretty penny for our caffeine addiction, but i’m going to tell you, hands down Quick Check offers a great cup of Joe, and It’s so darn cheap too! Now, i’m not bashing Starbucks and D and D, trust me, i’ve had my fair share of coffee there too, but when I want quick and inexpensive coffee, quick chek is my go to location!
I mean, look at all these flavors and options?
