Soon residents will have an easier access to outstanding Cancer care of Memorial Sloan-Kettering. In December 2016 a new outpatient facility will be fully operational providing comprehensive care through multidisciplinary care teams solely focused on Cancer.  It is located at 480 Red Hill Rd., Middletown, NJ.

Holmdel Park which is part of the Monmouth county park system is an outstanding day of adventure to be enjoyed by family and friends.  Located within the park is the Longstreet  farm.  The farm re-creates agricultural life of the 1890s. Interpreters dress in period Costume and perform typical year round farming and domestic activites including seasonal planting and harvesting of crops and raising livestock.  The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There is a federal style 14 room farmhouse, Dutch born, and a collection of the 19th century farm outbuildings.  Within the Park there is fishing with a permit. They are picnic areas, tennis courts, playground and 10 miles of hiking trails, ice skating and sledding on permitted when conditions are deemed safe.

The David C Shaw Arboretum  is a 20 acre horticultural display which is a favorite spot for wedding parties to take incredible pictures.

Bell Works is the reimagining of the historic former Bell Labs building in Holmdel, N.J.  Today, the building is one-of-a-kind destination for business and culture, complete with a blossoming ecosystem of technology, traditional offices, retail, dining, hospitality, and much more. complex comprises four buildings encased in glass with a 100-foot-wide piazza about a quarter mile long. Somerset’s makeover includes 1.65 million square feet of offices, shops, restaurants, health-care and hospitality space.  a substantial piece of land was purchased as a portion of the 472-acre campus, is developing about 225 homes on the property.

The complex has a cafe and deli and will soon have a coffee kiosk, Mr. Zucker said. New tenants have already established a Friday-night tradition of playing soccer on the astro-turf the developers put within the complex’s large atrium.

 

A Casola Farms

Antonio Casola Farms a true family farm run by the husband and wife team of Antonio and Kim Weigand Casola, whose ancestors farmed in Holmdel and surrounding areas for over 200 years.  They specialize in Agri-tainment and educational activities. We originated the first original Pick-your-own Pumpkin and Hayride farm!

 

PNC Bank Arts Center

Another famous landmark in the town is a 7,000-seat amphitheater with room for an additional 10,500 people on the lawn. Originally called the Garden State Arts Center, the PNC Arts Center hosts concerts from May through September and is ranked among the top-five venues of its kind in the nation. This year, PNC Arts Center brought back the popular “Holiday Light Spectacular” to its seasonal lineup. Concerts are from May through September featuring 45-50 different events of many types of musical styles.
