Colts Neck is a community in Central New Jersey.   Many people choose to make this incredible town their home due to its open space and proximity to the Jersey Shore, while still being within commuting distance of New York City and, lesser Philadelphia. The township’s EXTREMELY strict zoning ordinances have long kept out urban development and chain stores, allowing for locally-owned businesses, while still being close to malls, movie theaters, and other amenities in neighboring communities.

Known as a popular equestrian region, this incredible area still houses many horse farms. Recently, several farms have been replaced by large private residential estates. Colt’s Neck, New Jersey homes are highly sought-after by professionals who need to commute.  Located exactly 60 miles from mid-town Manhattan and 72 miles from Philadelphia it’s a great place for those who need to commute but want to escape to the suburbs.

When you choose to live here,  you are in the right place for Golfing, tennis, Horseback riding, and pretty much anything else “outdoors”. evening stroll, you don’t need No need to travel to the mountains each fall for foliage,  you are surrounded by magnificent colors right here thanks to the abundance of large trees spread around.  Although Colts Neck is 10 miles inland, residents here feel they live at the shore. Popular shore towns like Avon, Bradley Beach,  Belmar, Spring Lake, Point Pleasant, and Long Branch, places New Yorkers have been vacationing at for years, are just a short drive down Route 34.

Colts Neck is about 31.792 square miles.  Within that area, there is no shortage of places to head out for a day and play golf.  Colts Neck Golf Club is a semi-private Club located in the heart of Colts Neck.  Not far from there you also have Pebble Creek Golf Club and Hominy Hill Golf is a public 18-hole golf course that is owned and operated by the Monmouth County Park System! The course was established in 1964 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones.  A few short miles away are Trump National Golf Club and Due Process Stables Golf Course.
